Outside the Classroom

As our world becomes increasingly complex and interconnected, it is more important than ever to provide children with the skills they need to thrive. While traditional classroom learning is valuable, taking education beyond the classroom can also provide unique and valuable opportunities for children to develop a range of important life skills. Whether students are enjoying a nature hike, solving clues to an Escape Room, visiting the local Library, exploring at a park, or out on one of our many field trip locations students develop creativity, become physically activity, cultivate independence and build teamwork skills!

School Trips

Field trips offer students a unique opportunity to learn through direct experiences and interaction with new settings. These experiences can lead to improved long-term retention of information, a greater interest in subjects, and enhanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills. By engaging in inquiry-based learning, students can actively participate in their education, leading to more meaningful and lasting learning outcomes.

Field Days

Field days are not just fun but essential ensuring that every child, regardless of athletic ability, has a chance to participate and succeed. These activities provide a break from daily routine and promote excitement with a sense of camaraderie. These fun-filled days build teamwork, creativity, and friendships. Kids will remember for years to come.

Social Skills

Students are often excited or nervous during field trips, this challenges them to manage their emotions and tackle changes in their environment. Collaboration is often needed which require students to work together, communicate effectively, and respect each other's contributions. Marbles Museum is a great place to visit!

Zoos

Zoos are a great experience to contribute to students' knowledge of our natural world. Conservation awareness and protecting endangered animals and how we can contribute in preserving biodiversity is significant. Zoos offer children experiences to learn topics like animal behavior, ecology, conservation efforts, and habitats.

Community Services

Community service enables kids to see past the immediate world around them and see first-hand how their help can make a difference in lives and communities. Knowing they can make a difference empowers students to serve. Not only do we learn about the services of our community, but our students get involved in service projects during the year.

Farming and Agriculture

The importance of Farming and Agriculture is not emphasized enough. We visit local or nearby farms to help students get a better understanding of how food is grown, and proper care of animals. Farming helps them learn the values of hard work and a good work ethic. The care of animals helps them understand the circle of life and gratefulness for the sustenance they provide.
