The Admissions Process
Thank you for your interest in Carolina Christian Academy!
We are excited to be a part of what God is doing in all of our students lives.
We are a Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Selecting a school where your child and family can thrive is an important decision that should be made with prayer. Please follow the steps below to see how your family can become a part of our school community. We look forward to meeting you and discussing how we can work together!
1 - Introduction Session
The best way to get acquainted with CCA is to come visit and meet with us. We love getting to know our families personally, and a visit is a great way to ensure your family and our school are a good fit for one another. You also get answers to various questions you may have about how a typical students day goes and more. Contact us to schedule your appointment today and inquire about current availability.
2 - Educational Assessment
During your visit, we will conduct an educational assessment of your student. Assessments vary and can take 30 to 45 minutes. This is simply to help us understand where your student is in their learning and identify any support that may be needed to help them be successful. We appreciate honesty, this is a great time to share your students' strengths and limitations. Assessments are very casual and friendly and are intended to help your student feel comfortable and welcomed, know expectations and excel at CCA. We must have student records before the assessment can be completed.
3 - Provide Student Records
Please provide your student’s current and previous year report cards and/or transcripts, along with the most recent standardized testing available at our Introductory Session. We will need all student records along with current immunization records by first day of attendance.
4 - Schedule Testing
After receiving an invitation to enroll please schedule your students testing. All students take placement/assessment testing.
-
Kindergarten Assessments: This assessment focuses on school readiness through activities that include cognitive, emotional, social and physical abilities.
-
IEP/504 Plans Assessments: If your student has an IEP or 504, you’ll also need to provide the most recent evaluation (IEP) and most recent supporting medical documentation (504). You may bring these documents with you, drop them off, or email them. Documents will need to be received at least three business day prior to your student’s scheduled assessment.

5 - Submit Enrollment Packet and Registration Fee
If you decide CCA is where you want your student to be you will be invited to submit an Enrollment Packet. Enrollment Packets ensure we have necessary information to assist your student during pick up and so much more. The Registration/Enrollment fee will be due
at this time.
We keep costs clear and simple. There are no hidden or unexpected fees. Our fees are as follows: Registration (Enrollment) fee, Curriculum fee (based on grade level), and Tuition. If applicable a one-time per year only testing fee (depending on grade level and
State requirements). We will be glad to explain this further at our introductory meeting.

Note: If your student is in a graduating year (Kinder or Senior) there is a small graduation fee to cover cap & gown, etc.

Uniforms? We do not want to put additional unnecessary costs on families for school uniforms. In place of uniforms, we have a dress
code. You student will be required to adhere to the dress code.

Our Financial Advisor will meet to discuss these topics in detail along with forms of payment and payment options if needed. Speak with our Financial Advisor about possible Scholarships that may be available.
Note: If assistance is needed NC has an Opportunity Scholarship. Families can apply for the scholarships usually beginning in February (please see the NCSEAA website for up-to-date information). CCA does accept the NC Opportunity scholarship; however it
is not a requirement.
Once these steps are completed, your student will be officially enrolled at CCA! We are excited about your journey with us.
